The Mixed Lounge was opened on 29 July 1994 by five times Open Champion, Peter Thomson, replacing the former Mixed Lounge, a much smaller room at the south end of this lounge.

With its magnificent views over the Links, sands and beyond, the Mixed Lounge is an ideal setting for lunches by day and social events - like Carpet Bowls, Bridge and Dances - by night.
